Museum exhibits feature over 1,200 dolls on permanent display, ranging from antique to modern, plus teddy bears, toys, dollhouses, miniatures and other childhood memorabilia. They are fun to look at and enjoy and, as well, teach the history of doll making while showcasing the artistry of the dolls. A stroll through the English garden provides you with a moment to savor the Museum building itself, a beautiful modern structure with definite Victorian influences.

Since opening its doors in 1992, the Museum has received many awards, among them the prestigious Jumeau Trophy for Best Private Doll Museum in the World, awarded in Paris, France in 1994. Also, be sure to take a look at our very own Museum Exclusive Collectors Books; The Rose Unfolds and The Heart of the Tree. Each is a must for every serious collector and is now on sale.

Please feel free to take a peek at our collection with a Self-guided Tour through our Galleries. Also, we have a Mailing List with a section we like to call our "Wish List" where you can tell us what kind of dolls you are looking for. We offer a special Museum Membership as a gift or for those who visit us frequently, and check out our Contact Info page for information about our location, business hours and address.

For adults, the dolls invoke a great sense of nostalgia for their own childhood. For a visiting child, the dolls not only are fun and cute, but they show that the child's own world is VERY IMPORTANT!
